Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!!

On Friday we celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday with Owens’s class. The class has been reading books all week and on Friday they ate Green Eggs and Ham’s prepared by their teacher Mrs. Litonjua. Owen shared his large Green Eggs and Ham floor puzzle and his classmates helped him put it together.  I had a Cat and the Hat cake made for Owens’s entire school of 25 students, it was delicious! We also made Cat and the Hat, hats! It was a very fun day for everyone!!

Field Trip to Domino's Pizza

Owens's Class, from left to right: Alex, MacKenna, Andrew, Zack, Tyler, Parker, kohl, Owen, Emma, Leslie. On Tuesday we took Owens Kindy class to Domino's Pizza in Ojai for a field trip. The kids were not able to make their own pizza's but the staff showed them how to make the pizza dough, what toppings they offer, and they waited while the pizza's cooked in the oven. They were able to choose their own toppings. Two children per medium pizza. Both kids wanted cheese only. Here are some of the pictures from our trip. Dominos is very close to the school so we were able to walk there and take the pizzas back to school to eat.
