Kids Fishing Day at Lake Casitas

On March 24^th, Lake Casitas held its annual “kids Fishing Day,” this was the first year that we took the kids. What a great day it was!! Emma won a fishing pole from the Christian Anglers, this was so great because Tony bought Owen a new fishing pole the day before and Emma was a little sad that she didn’t get a new one. The Christian Anglers also had free t-shirts for all the kids (“Hooked on Jesus”) as well as hot dogs and a drink. They released 2500 trout that day and sectioned off a small area between the docks.  As soon as the kids cast their line, they caught a fish. The volunteers unhooked, bagged and even cleaned the fish. After that we took the kids to the other side of the Lake for awhile and fished some more, a great day!

Not as easy as when all the fish are rtight there.
