our two little blessings: Lake Buena Vista October 2012

We started off our summer as soon as Owen was out of school by going to Lake Buena Vista and this last week we ended our summer by doing the same. We had a great trip. Not as many people as we usually have but it was all family and it really was a great trip. Tony’s sister Tara and brother in law Loren were able to join us for a few nights; the kids really enjoyed spreading time with them. My brother and sister in law came up for a night and my mom and Tom stayed the entire time with us. The kids were able to get a lot of time on “Big Mable,” and Tony was able to do a lot of wake boarding. We had water balloon fights, rode bikes, went swimming, went on the tube, went fishing, played in the sand and had a great time relaxing with our kids and family. The kids defiantly were not ready to come home, they love to camp!! The weather was great and we pretty much had the entire lake to ourselves. I counted five other campers on the entire Lake and only two other boats, one day there were no boats on the lake. It was a great way to end the summer and welcome fall.
